SIX NATIONS – Mohawk businesswoman Kelly MacNaughton, of Icky’s Variety and Tobacconist sat down with Real Peoples Media to give us her thoughts about the recent raids on the Indigenous Tobacco Industry and the #OccupyINAC movement. These interview were conducted on Friday April 15th. MacNaughton argues that the suicide crisis is the outcome of deliberate efforts by the Canadian government to block Indigenous people from developing their own economy on their own terms.
