Kahsto’sera’a Paulette Moore is an Artist/Filmmaker in Residence at Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin. Moore is Kanien’keháka (Mohawk) of mixed Native and British heritage and an enrolled member of Six Nations of the Grand River territory in Ontario, Canada. Moore spent two decades based in Washington DC working as a director, producer and writer with Discovery Channel, National Geographic, PBS, ABC and other national and international media outlets.
In 2004 Moore began making independent community-based,films and recently has focused on Indigenous responses to extractive industry and over culture.
