Real People’s Media now Multi-platform Livestreaming

TYENDINAGA MOHAWK TERRITORY – On November 3rd, 2020, Real People’s Media completed its first in-studio livestream from the studios of Real People’s Radio 87.9FM. The station, which broadcasts hip hop during the day, and traditional Onkwehon:we music in the evenings, has been in operation for over a year, but being able to simultaneously live-stream its video and audio signal to multiple digital and social media platforms is a big breakthrough.

Delee of the Gidimt’en Clan joined Kanenhariyo of Mohawk Bear Clan, and owner of Real People’s Media at RPM’s Tyendinaga studio to discuss what’s going on in Wet’suwet’en territories. The broadcast was livestreamed over Real People’s Radio 87.9FM, the RPM YouTube Channel, our Facebook Page, Instagram. Future broadcasts will also be streamed through our website and Twitter account.
