LTN: The Treaty of Canadaigua
WASHINGTON – Ribbon shirts, Gustowehs and Haudenosaunee people filled “The Indian Treaty Room” at the White House this week as some celebrated the 222 year old Canandaigua Treaty. These participants seemed oblivious to the fact that the week would end on the 193rd anniversary of the Johnson v M’Intosh ruling that would be the “legal” justification for violating every treaty including and especially Canandaigua. Irony or hypocrisy? You decide. Some Buggin Malone on the breaks, some excerpts from “The Doctrine Of Discovery: Unmasking The Domination Code”. Let’s Talk Native is hosted by John Kane and Matt Hill.
