“Not my president, not my congress, not my court, not my bible, not my government, not my constitution.” John Kane of Let’s Talk Native gives a no-nonsense analysis of Trump’s first week in office.

Hey, all,
Just stumbled onto RPM and this broadcast. Buzzflash cited it in their headline compilation. Instant fan.
I’m a white guy in Massachusetts, but think that native issues should be given more platform and voice in “progressive” politics and actions, and, obviously by our national so-called leaders.
Funny that NPR and On Point were mentioned in this program. I’ve been hounding the program in their comments section for months, noting their relentless tilting of guest commenter panels to the right and toward corporate media. I noted that the DAPL actions had been happening for months before they even mentioned in a weekly news roundup. They still haven’t covered it in detail.
And they’ve also failed to even mention the journalists and filmmakers who were arrested there, while Ashbrook has the gaul to recored fundraising spots for the host station citing NPR’s mission of “fearless” journalism.
None of this is surprising given that “public” broadcasting is increasingly under control of corporate interests, and is apparently pandering to their neo-liberal base.

I’ve been reading your entries right through my morning break, and I will have to admit the entire article has been very engnihtenilg and rather well written. I believed I might help you understand that for some reason this weblog does no longer view well in Internet Explorer 8. I wish Microsoft might prevent changing their software. I’ve a query for you. May you thoughts replacing blog roll hyperlinks? That will be actually neat!
That’s really shedwr! Good to see the logic set out so well.
